The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, and Italian or English both worked when speaking with them. The room was clean enough overall, though I doubt anyone had vacuumed under the bed. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, but sound carries through the hallway, so you can hear everyone. Breakfast is basic, nothing fancy, but filling. There isn't much room, so I'd go early to find a seat. The location is pretty good, under 10 minutes from Villa Borghese, with several bus stops close by. Getting to the city center takes about a 30-minute walk. For the price, the stay was surprisingly not too bad. The building is old and badly outdated, especially the elevator. I wouldn't use it. Someone got stuck in it at 2 am last time, and I felt unsafe when I rode it once. The hotel is on the third floor, and the stairs are tough with a suitcase, or for older guests and people with breathing or mobility difficulties. It feels like seven floors, even though it's only three.

The room's condition was unacceptable: damaged walls, a filthy broken table, a refrigerator that didn't work, and a completely broken toilet flush. The elevator also seemed extremely unsafe and poorly maintained, while reception staff were rude and unprofessional. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The maintenance and service were unacceptable, and I strongly wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was clean and pleasant, and I had no complaints about it. The street nearby is busy, but it stays peaceful and quiet at night. Staff at reception were consistently helpful and very friendly. The hotel is easy to reach and well located, near the Borghese Gallery and a beautiful park.

I had a great stay in a really convenient location. The service was much appreciated, especially Natalia's.

At first I was put off because the place was a little hard to find. The receptionist was very kind, though. Our booking agent hadn't told us the economy room came with a shared bathroom, so the receptionist upgraded us for free even though that wasn't the hotel's fault. Both the room and bathroom were clean, and we had a nice balcony view. It's close to all the tourist spots and has a really Italian feel. I'd definitely recommend it.
