The staff were nice, and the hotel is on a busy road with shops open fairly late, so I felt safe. It was also handy for Termini, the metro, and bus stops. I wouldn't bother with breakfast, though. There are plenty of nicer things to eat outside. I booked two single beds but was given a double. They offered to change it, but the double turned out to be two singles pushed together. There wasn't even a centimeter of space between them, so it made hardly any difference. The hotel had no ironing facilities or kettle, and the shower temperature swung between too hot and too cold. I also sometimes saw marks on the towels that I'd noticed the day before, so they didn't seem to be changed daily. The entrance doors are closed, but not locked, quite late. Just before midnight one night I couldn't get in until my friend, who was inside, opened the door. We tried it, and she couldn't open it from outside either. It wasn't great, though luckily it didn't cause a bigger problem.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was okay, nothing special. Everything was spotless, from the rooms to the linens, though some furniture felt old-fashioned. The elevator in the preserved historic building was small and slow. The location is the main draw: right on the main street and just a few steps from Termini. Taxis and buses are easy to get, and most major sights are under a 20-minute walk. Seems ideal for a solo traveler or a couple.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good. The hotel is in an old building shared with other hotels and companies, with rooms in different parts of it. It's very close to Termini and other historic places. The elevator is a little old and slow.

A very good choice. The rooms are really clean, the staff are helpful, and breakfast is great. You can walk to all the sights, and there's a metro station nearby.

The location is the one thing going for this very old hotel. It's on a main street, with lots of attractions easy to reach, but breakfast is below average.
