The host made us feel really welcome, and Elisa’s House was spotless with everything we needed. A cozy, charming place right in the heart of Rome. I’d happily recommend it.

The kitchen could use a renovation, and much of the crockery was dirty or in poor shape, so I couldn't give the flat five stars. There was also a cat urine smell in the entrance. The apartment itself is in a pleasant part of Rome and easy to find. Getting there from the metro or railway station is simple, and the city center is close enough to reach on foot or by metro, bus, or tram.

The apartment is spacious, and the owner was friendly and ready to help. A minimarket with good prices is close by, and the Colosseum is around 2 km away on foot. It’s a quiet neighborhood near Piramida metro station. From there, connections at Terminu go to the Vatican and Vatican Museum, about 25-30 minutes away. The ticket costs 1.50 euros and lasts 100 minutes.
