Pawel was kind and really helpful, and the room was very clean. We had a large room with a balcony. The shared hall has a coffee machine, fruit, snacks, and kitchen equipment, with several options for breakfast available around the clock. They were also very generous with bottled water. It’s an apartment converted into a B&B with several rooms. The only issue is the noise you can get from other rooms when they’re full. We heard it on the first day, so just keep that in mind. Food is easy to find nearby. Our favorite was Cotto e Portato, a local homemade restaurant with lots of choices and very cheap prices. There’s also a laundry just outside, around the building’s corner, where a small wash and dry costs €8. Getting around was especially convenient. In two minutes on foot, you’re at a hub for trains, buses, and trams, all at the same stop. Roma Termini takes 20 minutes by train (€1 per person), and Vatican City (San Pietro Station) takes 6 minutes (€1 per person). You can buy tickets at the station. The Colesseum is 15 minutes away by tram number 3, while Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon are 15 minutes by tram number 8. Trams accept tap to go and cost €1.5 per person. Remember to tap your card, as there are regular checks. Overall, a 10/10 value experience.
