Monteverde

We were lucky to have access to the lovely terrace. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly. We especially appreciated Mr. Francesco, who was always reachable by phone. The place is in a quiet part of Monteverde, with Piazza Venezia about 15 minutes away by tram, so it's a good base for the main sights in Rome. The one small annoyance was the shower curtain, which wasn't very comfortable. A sliding panel would've been better.

The room was fine and clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Walking to the center takes a while, which is the one downside. But public transport is well placed: the tram stop is a 5-10 minute walk and takes you to Piazza Venezia.

The furnishings were excellent, and the place was clean and air conditioned, with WiFi that didn't always work. I would've given it another star if someone had been at reception and the sheets hadn't had blood stains. It's a good place to stay in Rome for a few nights.

It's a clean, comfortable place with friendly staff who are always ready to help. Public transport connections are good, so the area is easy to reach.
