Hotel Mosaic

Dirty and noisy, with awful beds and a really bad smell. I've travelled a lot and stayed in plenty of places, but haven't come across somewhere this uncomfortable. There's a fridge with water marked €0.80, but when I wanted to buy some at night, nobody would help. I can't recommend it at all. Best to avoid.

The cleaning team were the bright spot. They worked hard every day, cleaned everything perfectly, and left a nice smell. They were sweet and friendly with guests, especially Nadia, and brought such positive energy to the hostel. The kitchen needs attention, though. The fridge is tiny, there's no oven, and the microwave smells really bad. The hostel needs maintenance, and the cutlery isn't clean. That may be because of other guests, so I'd bring your own.

I found bed bugs in my room, which is a serious cleanliness problem. The property should deal with it, and I'd be careful about booking. The location was handy, around a 15-minute walk from the train station. Free morning coffee, plus a microwave and refrigerator, were useful for travellers.

Terrible experience. I lost 50 euros in the room, and the only person who entered after I went to the toilet was the cleaning lady. The boss said he trusted his employee and gave me 20 euros to help, but that's not how this should have been handled. The receptionist's comment, “I don't know if there is money in your bag!”, was insulting.
