Hotel Mozart

The rooftop restaurant was impressive, and the food was good. The hotel's ambience felt really special and different from the usual big city hotels. The halls echoed a lot and were loud, especially at night, but that was a small price to pay.

Being close to the metro and places like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon made getting around easy. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including lots of gluten-free options, which mattered with one coeliac in our family of four. Our quadruple room worked out fine, though the beds weren’t quite what I expected: one was a narrow pull-out sofa rather than a proper single. The main drawback was the noise from the busy road and nearby shops, with waste collection and deliveries going on through the night. The hotel can’t control that, and a room elsewhere in the building might be quieter.

The staff were kind, patient and incredibly helpful, from the front desk through breakfast, and I felt safe staying here on my own. I booked a superior room and loved the cozy feel, elegant style and fantastic bathtub. The location is amazing and the prices are great. I’d happily come back.

Hotel mozart is my regular choice when I visit Rome. I’ve stayed at least five times, and the staff have always been great about helping with transport and recommendations. The rooftop restaurant is also a lovely place for dinner or drinks, with a spectacular view.
