We loved waking up to breakfast in bed each morning, and the hotel's view and location were just perfect. Everything about our stay in Rome felt incredible. We'll definitely come back.

The room was fine, but I wasn't happy with how the host treated us. We arrived around 11 pm to check in, and because I'd agreed to pay the late check-in fee, I expected the host to be there. Instead, she was over 40 minutes late, and we had to wait on the cold stairs. When I called, she said she'd waive the fee, but she didn't seem sorry at all. It felt like she thought removing the fee made the wait acceptable, and that since we weren't paying it, we had no reason to complain. We'd been standing in the cold for more than 40 minutes, and she acted as if it was no big deal. After I left a review on booking.com, she called asking me to give a higher rating. I explained why I was unhappy, but she kept focusing on waiving the late check-in fee. The problem for me was how she treated a customer, not simply that she was late.

The staff made our weeklong stay for my birthday feel so personal. They noticed the little things and really cared about making it a good experience. Since my partner and I are both vegan, they asked what we'd like for breakfast so they could provide suitable food, and we enjoyed it a lot. The rooms were very clean, the design was lovely, and the central location was convenient while still being quiet and calm. This was honestly the best bed and breakfast we've stayed at. We'll definitely return and recommend it to everyone we know.

The delicious breakfast arrived each morning, and the hostess was warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. I can't remember her name, and we couldn't speak each other's language, but Google Translate got us through all our conversations. She made sure we had a good stay. We stayed in the Kadinski Room, which was comfortable and spotless, with excellent attention to detail. The air-conditioning worked well, all the lights and remote controls worked, the TV was modern, and the bathroom was spacious with a good shower and lovely towels. It's more of a bed and breakfast than a full-service hotel, and the value for money is exceptional. You're right in old Rome, just around the corner from Piazza Navona. One thing to keep in mind is the stairs: there is an elevator, but it doesn't go all the way up, so you'll need to carry luggage up several flights. Highly recommend.
