The location is a real plus, close to the colosseum and the subway. The accommodation was clean, and the bathroom was quite satisfactory, though the three bathrooms were shared by all the guests. Our room smelled of cigarettes, and the photos on the website didn't quite match what we found in person. It's an adequate place to sleep.

The only real advantage here is the location near the Vittorio Emanuele metro station. The stay wasn't worth the price or reputation: our room smelled unpleasant, hygiene was poor, and there was no cleaning for five days. The building has virtually no soundproofing, and street noise kept us from sleeping until midnight. There was also no respect for the other guests, and drinks went missing from the refrigerator. Staff spoke very little English. The hallway and the way to the rooms were both gloomy.
