I was a bit confused after seeing the bad reviews shortly before our stay, but we had a great time at Naman Spagna. It's not a regular hotel with a reception or restaurant, but the rooms are really beautiful and clean, with everything you need. The location is great as well.

There was nobody on site to help, and it caused a string of problems during our two-night stay. We first couldn't get into the building because nobody had sent us the hotel code. After a long phone call, an employee gave it to us, but even they seemed not to know the code. Stay tuned, it got worse. The room was awful: no towels, sheets, cutlery, or even signs to guide us. My brother and I took sheets from another unlocked room so we could sleep. The next day the upstairs code had been changed without telling us, and we couldn't get back into our room. After another long call, we were told to try three codes. None worked, so eventually someone came. They blamed my family and me for being on the wrong floor, though there were no signs and no staff around to help us find our way. It was a really rude interaction, especially when we were locked out with our belongings and medication. We'd already spent a night in the room because of the poor service the day before. I don't usually complain, and this didn't ruin Rome for me because I'm pretty chill, but the place truly sucked. Given the chance, I'd strike this glorified hostel down with a meteor. Ciao!

The service was great, and after I felt suspicious about the bad reviews, the owner explained there was new management and we decided to try it. Glad we did. It's a spacious, clean apartment designed like a 5 STAR hotel, in a perfect spot just steps from the Spanish staircase. Worth it 👌

They call this luxury hospitality, but in reality it's just a few rooms in a residential building. There was no one to welcome us, and it felt like an Airbnb even though they don't describe it that way. They say the confirmation email calls it a “guesthouse.” We left and found a real hotel, but they didn't refund us. If I'd read the Google reviews first, I could have avoided a terrible experience and wasting my money. I'm attaching photos of their so-called “luxury” reception.

The place is nice and the location is very good, but we had a miserable night in February. The room was cold, the heating didn't work, there was no extra blanket, and the water was cold too, so we couldn't shower. Since there's never a reception and entry is by code, you have to message someone if you need help and hope they respond. I wasn't lucky. I asked someone to come, but they said they'd fix it tomorrow, which was checkout day. We paid 150 euro for the night, and it wasn't worth it.
