You can walk to plenty of attractions from here, and it’s a little removed from the busiest part of Piazza Navona, so there are fewer crowds. The location is superb. Luca, the host, sent very clear and detailed instructions.

The location is great, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. There’s no real service: nobody meets you or shows you the room, you just let yourself in, pick up the keys and find it. Questions sent on WhatsApp get canned replies, and it doesn’t seem like they care. The bathroom is so cramped that anyone even slightly claustrophobic probably couldn’t use it. Also, the water drains don’t work 😂

The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the guidebooks in the shared area were pretty interesting and useful for exploring Rome. The rooms seemed fine otherwise, but one blanket had a white stain, though I suppose it could have been anything. The sink had almost no water pressure. It took a minute to fill a small bottle, which made brushing my teeth difficult too.

We’re from California and had a really enjoyable nine-night stay at Charming Navona Rooms. The rooms were clean and worked well in every way, and the location near all the sights was hard to beat. Luca was incredibly helpful and supportive. Thanks, Luca, from me and the family!

The room was neat and clean, and the location was excellent, near one of the best squares in central Rome. There wasn’t any staff on site, but Luca had organized everything brilliantly.
