Nerva Accomodation Suburra

The best things were the location, hair dryer, and air conditioner. But the service was below par. There was no hand soap in my room, and it took all day to get one. At checkout, the attendant didn't even offer to help carry my suitcase down the stairs. The facilities were old, odd, and under construction. There's no elevator, and nobody helped me with my luggage on arrival. I had injured my knee earlier, which made the stairs worse. No one was there to check me in either, so I had to call the number at the entrance to get help getting inside. In the common area there were packaged baked goods, juices, and yogurts, but no water apart from tap water. It was too noisy. I could hear the street and the next-door guest snoring all night. The shower was tiny and seemed to leak a little through the back wall into the room. I won't stay again.

The woman who greeted us was warm and explained everything clearly and helpfully. I can't remember her name. We were satisfied with our two nights at this guest house in Naples and were fortunate to get a nice, pretty good room. Breakfast was simple but fine, with croissants and juice. On the first day there was a bit of a communication problem. The staff took a while to respond, and we worried we wouldn't check in on time because we had to leave for the Colosseum. Thankfully, they arrived and opened the door just in time.

It was an average stay, nothing special, but nothing bad either. We had a nice, basic, clean room and breakfast foods were available. The location is fantastic, close to the colosseum but not too touristy until you reach the main streets. I'd recommend it for a safe, comfortable, easy, clean stay in Rome, and I'd stay here again.

I was very disappointed by how Nerva Accommodation treats its guests. We couldn't use our reservation because of unforeseen circumstances, so we contacted the hotel right away and asked for a refund or at least a reply about possible solutions. We never heard back. That lack of response shows no respect for customers. I'm a travel agency director, and I won't recommend this hotel to my clients or acquaintances.
