Nicole Rooms

The area was the one good thing, with the train station and some nice restaurants nearby. We were disappointed with our stay at Nicole Rooms, especially since this was our first visit to Rome and we just wanted a comfortable place to rest after exploring. After driving for several hours, we found no one there to give us the keys. The owner sent someone after we called, but he didn’t speak any English. He was really nice and trying to help, but using Google Translate to have even a basic conversation was exhausting, particularly when English is listed as a spoken language. The apartment was really dirty. There was dust everywhere, a musty smell and urine smell in the bathroom, and the sink looked like someone had thrown up in it and just rinsed it with water. The furniture, including the bed, was dirty and very uncomfortable, and there was trash from previous guests in the bins. There also wasn’t free parking in the area, despite what the description said. For similar prices, we could have found other apartments, so we expected at least basic service.
