Novotel Roma Eur

The staff looked after us really well, and I’d happily come back. It’s further from the city center, but the location still worked perfectly for us. There’s free parking, it’s easy to find, and you can walk around the neighborhood or exercise outdoors. I’d definitely recommend it.

I stayed in room 220 from 10/4 to 13/4. They advertised a refrigerator, but it was only a temperature-controlled cabinet, so we had to leave chilled items at reception, which was very inconvenient. The room was generally dirty, the kettle was dusty, there was no bathroom exhaust fan, the main door frame felt unsafe, and the bathroom door was broken. We asked to change rooms and were refused. The front desk staff were unfriendly, especially one middle-aged female staff member. They also advertised air conditioning, but it was never provided, citing local policy. We had to leave the windows open, which meant traffic noise all the time and mosquito bites for my daughter, several times. The TV had frequent screen problems too. A very poor stay, with four-star prices for what felt like two-star accommodation. Not recommended.

The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Free parking was easy to use for visiting nearby attractions, and we had a good short stay in connecting rooms. Breakfast was fine, but there wasn’t much variety.

The room was spacious and clean, and the bar was a relaxing spot. Everyone on staff was super friendly. All good.
