At around 22:00, the fire alarms kept going off while the building was having power failures. The lights flickered, the alarms restarted, and eventually all power went out. We couldn’t tell if there was a real emergency or what we were meant to do. Guests were then told to leave in the middle of the night. The 15 of us stood outside for about 90 minutes, with no clear information, updates, or guidance about whether it was safe to go back in. Support was unreliable, and communication was delayed and inconsistent. We were left to work things out ourselves. One guest called emergency services on everyone’s behalf, and that was the only way we found out what was happening. There was no meaningful explanation or follow-up the next morning, no clarity or reassurance. The outage lasted through a significant part of the stay, so we couldn’t sleep or use basic facilities. We effectively lost the whole night, which is the main reason to book accommodation. What I remember most is being woken up, told to leave, and left outside without information or help. It was unsettling and made me feel unsafe. When everything works, this kind of setup may be convenient, but if something goes wrong, you may be left on your own. I strongly recommend thinking about that before choosing to stay here. All 15 of us left on the street at 01:00am agree, and hope nobody else goes through this just to get a good location and a decent price.

The terrace room was sooooo nice, and they set up a crib with clean sheets for us. The hotel is kind of DIY: towels and toiletries are there to pick up in the lobby if you need them. I appreciated the free water, earplugs, and little chocolates. Being a block from the center of Trastevere’s hot spots was key for us. And the restaurant right next door is a must go!

Rooms with balconies or terraces are available, and there’s unlimited coffee. The staff were very helpful, and the place is newly renovated. Really nice spot in the heart of Trastevere!

Numa Rome Tullo is in a lively neighborhood full of nightlife and great restaurants. You can walk to the historic sights in about 15-30 minutes, while still being away from the usual tourist crowds. There are free lockers for luggage if you get there early or need to leave after checkout. Our room, 204, was clean, comfortable, and stylish, with a great balcony. It worked perfectly for our family of three. This was my first stay at Numa, and I’m looking forward to coming back.
