Remote workers, don’t stay here! The room was clean and the location was good, but the unreliable WiFi and lack of help after 7pm unless it’s an “emergency” ruined my stay. I contacted support after hours and got an automatic reply. The connection kept dropping throughout the visit, and in the evenings I couldn’t even get online, so I missed work meetings. They should tell guests when the WiFi is having problems, or leave Ethernet cables and USB-C converters in the rooms for people who need internet if the WiFi can’t handle it. I wouldn’t come back for that reason.

I had a really enjoyable stay. It’s more Airbnb-style than a hotel, with self check-in, but that all went smoothly. The price and location were great, the WiFi was fast, and there’s even a hot tub in the room.

I ended up having to find a nearby hotel and check in there. I’d booked two nights through Hotels.com, but on arrival there was only a closed door with a code, no reception or staff. The online link asked me to photograph my passport, but it wouldn’t work. When I called the number on the door, they said they couldn’t do anything or send anyone to help. They also refused my refund request. Booking.com said it couldn’t help or refund me, saying online check-in was mentioned in the small print. I called the owner’s office again, and they hung up on me. I’ve never had an accommodation experience like that.

For the price, it was clean, we felt safe, and it had what we needed. But the room would probably suit solo or more rugged travelers better. My husband and I struggled to move around our suitcases or get dressed because it was so small. The two beds had been pushed together, which made for a strange night’s sleep. The entry instructions weren’t very clear, though we eventually worked them out.
