The room itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully looked after. We were traveling with our newborn, and the staff had set up a lovely bed for him. When the shower gave us trouble, they fixed it quickly and did a great job. Getting into the building with a baby was really difficult, though, and the room’s position at the corner of two busy roads made the stay hard. Noise from partygoers on the road between the center and Trastevere, over Ponte Aurelio, kept us awake until 4 a.m. every night. It felt like being next to a stadium, and the room did little to block the sound. For that reason, I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

The towels and sheets had an odd smell, and the mattress was covered by a thin, flat sheet that barely fit. The bathroom fan was thick with dust. During our three-night stay, housekeeping never replaced the toilet paper, and the liquid soap was nearly gone at check-in and stayed that way. The reception staff weren’t very friendly either. This place felt badly managed, so I’d keep expectations below what the photos suggest.

Everything in the city center was easy to reach on foot, and there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. I also recommend Voglia di pizza just outside. The front desk is a minute from the palace, but that wasn’t an issue since the staff were ready to help with anything. Sergey deserves a special mention. He helped us during check-in and was in such a good mood that he made our day. I really enjoyed staying here.

The café across from reception was a great breakfast option, even though breakfast wasn’t part of my booking. The people working there were lovely. Veronica also made planning much easier, sharing tips on what to see and when, and pointing everything out on the maps at reception. Thanks so much to her. Rome is wonderful to explore on foot, especially early in the morning before the ruins and streets get crowded. At night, Trastevere is full of life, with narrow lanes, busy squares, little bars, and lots of places to have a drink with friends. It has a fun mix of local and tourist energy. I can’t wait to come back!

I had a lovely little room with a really good shower, and the quality for the price was amazing. Google Maps made the check-in spot hard to find, but someone came out to meet me, which was very kind. I’d happily stay here again.
