Parioli House

The host's kindness made the stay at Parioli House feel special. He was friendly, attentive, and ready to help whenever I needed anything, which made me feel at home. The B&B was cozy and beautiful, and my room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. It was also a quiet spot with good connections to the main attractions. I had a lovely time in Rome and would happily return on my next visit. Highly recommend Parioli House.

It's secure, but this would be a last resort for me. The rooms are extremely basic, there's no dining area, and breakfast is just a coffee machine and biscuits in a shared hallway. The location isn't central, despite what you might expect, and there are better options nearby and elsewhere in the city.

Simple, clean rooms that are kept in good shape, with WiFi, Italian TV, a fridge, air conditioning, and an en suite bathroom. There's also a basic kitchen area outside the room that does the job. The owner was helpful when we had questions and offered suggestions that came in handy. The location worked really well for us, with bus routes right outside, plus restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. We were happy here, and the place was worth the price for somewhere to rest between days out sightseeing and eating at Rome's great restaurants. Payment is in cash euros when you arrive, so be prepared for that. A taxi from the airport cost us 65 euro.

We arrived at the house and rang the bell, but nobody answered. When I called the owner, he said the booking had been canceled without explaining why. Neither he nor TripAdvisor had emailed us about it. We had to find a hotel at the last minute, and it cost twice what I'd paid here. It took a while before I could start enjoying Rome. The owner should respect people who book a room. What a pathetic place. I wish I could give zero stars, or minus 100.
