Petrapapae

Work has taken me to homes in lots of different countries, but this was the first place that really felt like home. Thanks, Enrico, for making that possible.

The owner was kind and readily answered our questions. We stayed four days and three nights, and the apartment had the essentials, including a fridge with freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, living room TV, and two bathrooms. One bathroom is attached to the double bedroom. It’s about 1 km from Bambino Gesù Hospital, and public transport gets you to one of Rome’s main squares in under 20-30 minutes. It was a pleasant stay, though the cleanliness could be improved a little. Overall, I had no major complaint.

We were in Rome with our one-year-old daughter and needed a place near Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital where we could make her food ourselves. Mr. Enrico welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and was extremely helpful. The kitchen was unusually well supplied, from pots and utensils to salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, and oil. There was also a welcome kit with shampoo, toothbrushes, shower caps, towels, and sheets. The apartment is in a distinguished building on Lungotevere di Pietra Papa. It was very clean on arrival, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms including one en-suite, a living and dining area with Smart TV, a kitchen, a nice balcony, and air conditioning. It was a positive experience, and I’ll keep it in mind if we need a place in that area again, hopefully for happier reasons.

This was our second stay at Petrapapae (Enrico Pausini's vacation home), and we were very happy to come back. Mr. Enrico was kind and available whenever needed. The apartment is welcoming, well equipped, and central, with all sorts of shops within walking distance.
