Stella and Daniel, the owners, were so helpful, and the beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect, with plenty of delicious restaurants and bars just a few streets away. The hotel itself is in a peaceful, authentic area. Best place to stay in Rome!

A great base for exploring Trastevere and Rome. The host's mother checked us in and was so helpful and sweet. We loved the little cafe for breakfast, along with all the restaurants nearby.

After a day seeing Rome, it was lovely to come back somewhere so peaceful. The B&B is in Trastevere, close to the old town and the Colosseum, with loads of restaurants and nightlife nearby. Inside, the bed was comfortable, the shower and bathroom were good, and there’s a kitchen where you can make tea or coffee, keep your own drinks in the fridge, and have breakfast.

We stayed for quite a while and really did feel at home. The welcome was warm, and whenever we called the owner for information or suggestions, she was very helpful. Tolomeo sits in an authentic part of Rome that’s central but still quiet, and the medieval buildings look especially romantic when lit up in the evening. Our room was in an old tower, renovated by the architect owner with a lot of care. Everything felt new and clean.
