The room’s one downside was the toilet, which sat at an awkward angle. Otherwise, our return to Rome went smoothly. Cristian was a great host well before we arrived: he offered an optional airport car service for €65 and warned us a week ahead about a general strike at FCO airport. That helped us avoid long taxi lines and train delays, saving hours on our first day. At the pettinary b&b, the large terrace room had a modern interior and the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was a lifesaver, and the bathroom and shower were bigger than they looked in the photos. The location felt central, roughly 20 minutes in any direction to places like Trastevere, Vatican City, and the Colosseum. Breakfast was light and easy: cereal, bread, packaged cakes, and plenty of spreads, plus a nepresso machine, water, tea, and Yoga juice replenished daily. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

Cristian was a warm, attentive host, and we’d happily stay again. The place was wonderfully located, close to everything, and we felt very comfortable there. Our rooms were clean and tidy, and breakfast was very good and regularly replenished.

Cristian welcomed us with a helpful rundown of the neighborhood and communicated really well. We had a lovely one-bedroom room, with a living room and day bed, plus a full kitchen. The stocked fridge had water, milk, and juice, and anything we used was replaced the following day. There was homemade cake and a selection of packaged breakfast items too. We had a great stay.

The bed was a bit hard, probably because it’s an older box spring, so it wasn’t the most comfortable sleep, but we managed. Everything else made for a great stay. The room was spacious, with plenty of room in the kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Cristian was easy to reach and glad to help with our questions. It’s an easy walk to the major sights, and the location is ideal for finding food and drinks in Trastevere. There’s a grocery store right next door, along with great cafes for espresso and sweets. We’d return.
