Two days before we were due to leave, I got a message saying my card couldn't be charged and the booking would be cancelled. I’d reserved through Booking in February 2023 for the end of April. My international card works everywhere else, but I tried another one just in case. The next day I got the same message, and a few hours later they cancelled the reservation. This was two days before departure. I tried contacting the property by email, Instagram, phone, and through Booking. They never replied. In central Rome, everything cost twice to ten times as much. Booking support wouldn't negotiate and offered me 25€ in compensation, which didn't help. This feels like a huge scam, as if they overbook and cancel when they get better offers. It's outrageous. I hope the establishment closes. Goodbye.

I booked four months ahead, but Bbhomerome cancelled less than 48 hours before check-in, saying my credit card was invalid. After that, they wouldn't answer my calls, messages, or emails. Very poor service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They cancelled my Booking.com reservation two days before we were supposed to arrive, claiming my card was invalid. I checked with my bank and there was no issue, then sent several emails. They never responded. Unacceptable!

Booking.com only offered apologies and no solution, and the property wouldn't answer my calls. My reservation, made a month earlier, was cancelled two days before the trip because they said my card was invalid. It’s the same card I use for all my trips, and I’d also used it to book another place nearby. They were completely unprofessional.
