The location in the charming Monti district made getting around on foot easy. The Colosseum and Roman Forum were around a 10-15 minute walk, and the Trevi Fountain took about 15-20 minutes. The Pantheon and other sights were walkable too, so we rarely needed taxis or crowded public transport. B&B Roma Centro | Piazzetta de’ Monti Suites was spotless and cozy after long days out. We liked the wooden floors, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches. The owner was quick to answer questions before and during our visit, gave helpful recommendations, and made us feel welcome. Check-in and check-out were well organized. We’d definitely come back to Rome and recommend this as a comfortable central base away from the usual tourist chaos.

Be sure the host has your cell number. We booked through Southwest airlines and had no direct way to reach them, so we couldn’t get into the building at first. Someone kindly let us in, and we found the phone number on the door and texted for access details. It all worked out after about an hour, but it was stressful, especially since we’d already been awake for more than 20 hours.

The rooms are small, but clean and convenient, with what we needed for a city trip. We visited in mid April and weren’t bothered by noise from the square beside the hotel. It’s in a cozy, handy part of Rome, right by the Colosseum and Cavour metro station. Many thanks to Guiseppe for making sure our stay went smoothly. He was lovely and had good suggestions for restaurants and bars nearby.

The Colosseum is visible from the door, and restaurants are right downstairs. It felt very safe. The host was fantastic, looked after us, and shared all the recommendations we needed. They can also arrange an airport shuttle. Great location, amazing place.

You can see the colluseum right as you leave the building, and there are lots of good places for food and drinks a short walk away. We had a great stay, with a really nice room and air-con that worked well. We’d recommend it and stay again if we return to Rome.
