We ordered drinks to take away, but got regular cups. When we tried to sit down, we were told that sitting in cost more, so we were left standing there with our coffee. What should’ve been a simple, relaxing stop turned awkward and frustrating. The whole thing felt disorganized and badly handled. There’s a price difference for takeaway and dine-in, and I don’t really believe in a sitting tax.
The bruschetta trio was so unattractive that a 10-year-old could probably have made it look better. One slice had halved cherry tomatoes, one had a piece of cured ham, and the last had mashed buffalo cheese with anchovies dumped on top. Service was very slow, and all but one of the staff seemed uninterested. Wouldn’t recommend.
We went in for a quick bite and waited more than an hour for the food. The service was awful, painfully slow, and they just ignored us. When the food finally arrived, it was bad. We got food poisoning and spent the night throwing up. Not worth it.
The staff were polite and really nice, and the dishes were great. We’ll come back next time we’re in Rome.
We only wanted a quick takeaway coffee, but were ignored for ages before we had to ask to order. The man took our order, then made other people’s coffees first. When he finally made ours, he put them in regular cups despite our takeaway request. He kept ignoring us when we pointed that out, then shoved the coffees toward us. Rude and aggressive service. Avoid.
