I chose the place because it was near the barracks for the competitions, but the owners were indescribably rude. I’d looked at a lot of B&Bs. When I asked if I could leave my bags there the morning before the competition and have my colleague wait, they made pointless excuses and eventually kicked us out. There are other things I could say about payments, but I’ll leave it at that. Manners matter, and I shouldn’t even have to write about this. One star is my gift to you, dear Luigi/Lucelma. You’ve lost out on more nights. I hope nobody else has the same experience I did. Have a good life.

They present themselves as a B&B, but it’s practically a hostel. We were misled because the owner only told us this when we arrived. Sadly, when you tell the truth, you get replies like that. I’ll say no more.

Mr. Luigi was warm and welcoming, and the hospitality, availability, and privacy were impeccable in every detail. We felt at home, me and my grandchildren, during our stay for a concert at the Olympic Stadium. The location was excellent, the room was spacious, and it had a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a refrigerator. The prices were very competitive. What more could you ask for? The Tor di Quinto barracks are very close, and the Vatican is a 15-minute bus ride away, with the stop practically at the door. This is an excellent B&B, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything you need: private bathroom, TV, air conditioning, and fridge. Luigi, the owner, is very kind and ready to meet every need. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.
