Vicolo 22 B&B

We spent three nights here while visiting Rome, and check-in went smoothly. The Manager welcomed us and showed us around. The room was very central, near a public square and some amazing sites. It had a rain shower, air conditioning, and a comfortable queen-sized bed. Highly recommended.

My friend and I booked two months ahead, but the website didn't clearly separate its locations, so we accidentally reserved a room at the wrong one. When we explained we couldn't stay there, the host became aggressive and threatening. He blamed us completely, demanded full payment, and said we couldn't leave, despite the booking policy saying we should only owe the reservation fee. We felt unsafe and intimidated, and the situation became so frightening that we cried. We ended up paying just to get out and checked into another hotel without staying there. Looking back, we should have called the police. It was a terrifying, traumatic experience. Avoid this place at all costs.

The room was spotless and had everything we needed, and check-in was simple. We could even leave our bags early. The only letdown was having no outside view. The location is great, with plenty of restaurants, bars and sights close by. I'd definitely recommend it.

After long days out walking, shopping and eating, it was lovely to come back to a quiet place. We really loved this guest home and would try to book it again if we return to Rome. The location was excellent, and the stay felt perfect.
