The host was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean, with a tiny bathroom that was just enough for a short stay. The price was reasonable for what we got. The breakfast was a letdown: we were sent to a nearby bakery or restaurant, but the cornettos seemed old and never fresh. Also, the room we booked was in another building, two or three blocks from the main address, which felt a bit strange.

The only good thing about this hotel is how close it is to termini. Before we even got inside, there was an unpleasant garbage smell by the entrance, and we could smell cigarette smoke before reaching our room. Our room was dusty and the bathroom was dirty. The shower holder was broken and the drain was clogged with clumps of hair, which we tried to clear ourselves. The toilet seat was cracked and wobbly. The sheets smelled bad and were ripped, and they only gave us hand towels instead of bath towels. We asked for larger ones, but the host couldn’t provide them. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and I’d give it zero stars. They need to improve their hotel service if they want more bookings.

The room turned out to be better than we expected after reading the reviews. It suited us fine as a place to sleep and store our things, since we weren’t planning to spend much time there. Being right by the train station made arriving and leaving with lots of bags really easy. The area can feel a bit unfriendly, which we expected. Rome is beautiful and I’d recommend visiting, but not every part of the city looks like it does on Instagram. You need to stay alert as a traveler and be aware that you stand out as a tourist. The bathroom was the other downside: mold around the shower on the walls and ceiling made it smell bad. We could live with that, and it didn’t affect our stay there or in Rome overall.

It’s super convenient if you have an early flight, since it’s across from the terminal and about €7 to the airport. My daughter and I stayed there alone. The people around made me a little overwhelmed, but they were harmless. I only wish there were a better sign so it was easier to find. The nearby restaurants had fire food. The place isn’t fancy or anything, but the room was clean and had a fridge and air conditioning. The bed was the one thing I didn’t like.
