Relais 6 Via Tolmino

We booked at the last minute and stayed just one night with our six-month-old. The website mentioned cribs, but the hotel couldn’t provide one when we arrived, probably because we’d only booked the night before, which I understand. The king-sized bed was comfortable for the three of us. The staff were lovely, the facilities were great, and breakfast was really tasty.

The courtyard out back was a lovely spot for a glass of wine at the end of the day, and there are good restaurants nearby. Inside, the reception feels like home, with silver-framed photos of the grandparents on a side table. Our room was very comfortable, the staff were great, and breakfast was good too.

The outdoor area was a perfect place to start the day, and breakfast was incredible. Our room was lovely and clean, and the staff were so helpful. They gave us maps and directions for the bus and Metro, plus recommended a cute little Italian restaurant just a couple of minutes away. The Metro is only a few stops from the attractions, and you can get an all-day bus and Metro pass for 6 Euro from the Hotel.

I was unsure about booking because the hotel looked a bit far from Rome, but it turned out to be well worth it. The staff were even better than the great rooms, and breakfast was good. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the metro or some great local restaurants, then only a short ride to Rome’s attractions. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
