A small, practical apartment, and it stayed warm during our winter visit. The people were nice to deal with. Just be ready for steep stairs with your suitcases, since there's no lift.

Great location, though the bathroom is tiny and the shower is even tinier.

The location was the one real plus: a few metres from the centre and near bus and metro stops. The apartment itself is on the third floor, up stairs as steep as Mount Everest, and didn't look like the Booking photos. It was reasonably clean, but some cutlery and glasses weren't very clean. The bidet is just a shower beside the toilet, there was no liquid hand soap, and the shower had no hot water. I ended up taking an ice-cold shower after trying to reach the owner four or five times without a reply. My partner and I never met the owner, and he wasn't available to help, even with urgent problems. The freezer couldn't be used because of the ice buildup, wouldn't close, and was leaking when we arrived. I thought the property would handle payment because that's what Booking said. I expected the owner to come collect it, but instead he took the money from my bank without telling me. My card was saved on Booking only as a “payment guarantee.”

The owner was hard to reach, even about urgent things like the shower having no hot water. He didn't come by at arrival or checkout either, which felt like poor customer service. The apartment is on the top floor, and the narrow stairs are difficult even without luggage. The master bedroom is really, really small, more like a studio apartment. The photos made it seem we were booking a one-bedroom apartment. It was reasonably clean, though there were rolls of dust beside the bed when we arrived. The freezer was unusable because a sheet of ice hadn't been cleared, despite us telling the owner about it. Kitchen utensils were kept to the bare minimum. There was luggage storage, but it was being renovated during our stay. The rules said to call the evening before.
