Residenza al Corso

The building itself has a fascinating history. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, author of Faust, stayed here incognito for a few months when he was famous in his day. There's a Goethe Museum below the hotel, which also tells the story of a Jewish family hiding during WWII. The hotel is close to a historic site, and nearby bus stops serve common tourist destinations. I worried it might be a scam after seeing one post confusing it with a different hotel, but it is real. The staff are very friendly, and I had a comfortable stay while seeing the dentist. The building has an elevator and a 24-hour lobby. I liked the electric kettle, fridge, temperature controls, and comfortable bed. I also enjoyed glimpses of the other rooms' pretty, comfortable-looking style as I walked down the hall.

I booked a room, but they cancelled it without giving any reason and never returned my money. Scammers, don't book with them.

I came across this B&B by chance, and it has become my place to stay in Rome. Before I arrived, the manager was kind, helpful, and polite on the phone. Then MICAELA greeted me so warmly that I felt comfortable right away. She clearly cares about her work and the property, and she's a wonderful person. The room felt welcoming and warm, and it was clean. For the first time in my experience, a hotel had a working TV, unlimited hot water, and a warm, fragrant atmosphere. It's right in the city center, close to everything. Congratulations, and see you next time!

Mrs. Mikaela was especially kind and welcoming, with so much courtesy and willingness to help. We also really appreciated being able to bring our poodle, Billy, which made us feel at home. We spent three nights at Residenza al Corso during our Rome trip. The property was very clean and well kept, and its central location made it easy to explore on foot or by public transport. We had a truly positive stay.
