The host was really friendly and helpful, and there were restaurants, a supermarket, and the metro nearby. The room was small and cold, though, and the duvet had no cover. The bathroom had no spare toilet paper, and the bar of soap should have been replaced. The doorbell didn't work.

I found a scorpion in the tub, and the place was dirty and felt unsafe. There were cobwebs, mildew, mold, broken tiles, badly patched walls, and broken light fixtures. The bed sheet had a hole, and the rough blanket was small, apparently cut down from a larger one. I got one bath towel, and during my 10-day stay I never received clean sheets or a fresh towel. The bathroom had a shared bar of soap, which was gross, and nothing for drying my hands. The hairdryer was broken. Whenever I came back, the hallway lights were off and it was pitch black. The Wi-Fi was spotty, under 20 Mbps, and didn't reach the rooms. I can't understand how this is listed as a 4-star hotel when neither the property nor the services come close. It should be shut down. See the pictures I've added. The owner also replies angrily to negative reviews. It seems he doesn't care as long as he gets paid.

I've seen other reviews calling the host weird, but I found David possibly the friendliest and most helpful property manager I've ever met in all my travels. Maybe it's a matter of perspective. He was kind and personable, took time to make sure I was happy and comfortable, and that made a big difference to me. The rooms aren't 5-star, so I can see why someone might be disappointed if that's what they expect. For a short stay, though, they were comfortable enough and pretty much matched the listing I saw.

The place was extremely dirty, and the shower was broken, spraying water everywhere without any hot water. Wires were hanging out of sockets, and on our last day the electricity went out and they didn't fix it. Three days after we left, they also took more money from my account without permission or explanation. They haven't replied to my emails. After years of bad reviews, I'm surprised the authorities haven't shut this place down over fraud and health and safety violations.
