Even though I’d already paid in full and was inside the apartment, the owner accused me of not paying 13 times over the phone. The service was appalling, and she completely harassed me. She clearly doesn’t know how to read reservations.

The location was the only good thing about this apartment. My boyfriend and I spent two nights in the blue room, and it was shockingly dirty, with hair between the sheets, on the radiator, in the bidet, in the shower, and across the floor. It seemed as if it hadn’t been cleaned since our previous stay. We contacted the property, and a cleaner came, but she only picked up a few hairs and didn’t even change the sheets. There was still hair everywhere afterward. The shower needs maintenance too, since it takes about 20 minutes for hot water to come through, and the TV wouldn’t turn on.

The residence was well kept and reasonably priced, close to St. Peter’s Basilica. We would’ve liked to find a bottle of water in the fridge.

Check-in was easy, and the place was nicely furnished, well equipped, and in an incredibly good location. The floor was very dirty and dusty, though, so it wasn’t as clean as I expected. The bed was okay, but the mattress could’ve been more comfortable.
