The beds were a lovely surprise for Rome, really soft and comfortable, and the rooms have a modern art feel. Nights were quiet too. After a day walking around the Roman roads, the free 45-minute spa session in a private, secure room was great, with a large multi-program spa and sauna. The shower has two power settings. There's no breakfast included, though breakfast and other meals are available for €20. Nico was very helpful, and we liked being left to ourselves while still getting quick replies from him, Domenico, or the others whenever we needed advice. They also have a lovely B&B close to the Spanish Steps. I'd come back.

We were allowed to leave our things there for a day at the end of our stay, which was a really nice help for tourists. The manager was kind, respectful, and welcoming. It's a beautiful hotel, and I'd recommend it to friends coming to Roma. +++++

The first phone call put me off making a reservation. I was confused because it felt like I was calling some random Italian person, and the man who answered was really rude. In the end, we didn't book because of that first interaction.

A few bugs in the room were my only complaint. Otherwise, the location right by the Vatican is great, and the host was friendly and knew the area extremely well. The spa and sauna were wonderful.

The cancellation was made 10 days before the trip, even though the reservation had been placed two months earlier. There was no flexibility about the check-in time.
