The bathroom had mold, which was really unpleasant and not acceptable. The sheets also weren't very clean, and even after they were changed, they were still dirty. One other annoyance: switching on the toilet light automatically starts the extractor fan, and there's no way to use them separately. The owners were friendly and greeted us with a smile. When we asked for a wine glass, they gave us one. It's okay if you only need somewhere to sleep for a night or two, but don't expect anything fancy or a place where you'll want to spend the day.

We were left without accommodation at the last minute, and Roma Carina came through for us. The owners were so helpful and welcoming, and check-in was easy. They provided water, snacks, and everything else we needed. When we had a small problem with the toilet, they fixed it straight away and cleaned up afterward. They even got up early to help us check out in time for our flight. Thanks so much, Roma Carina. I'd really recommend staying here in Rome!

My husband and I stayed for two nights a few days ago. The room was surprisingly clean, and we found both the bed and shower comfortable. The staff greeted us warmly, and after we'd said goodbye and left, our host ran after us with a shirt we'd forgotten. We're so grateful, and we'd happily stay here again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, even if they aren't especially big, and breakfast was nice. The owners are kind and happy to help. Just be aware that if you're hoping to sleep late in the morning or during the day, the room above ours may have had a child in it, I'm not sure if it's their house, and at times it sounded like the ceiling might fall in :P Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The metro is nearby, so getting around is easy, though it's a little way from the center. Walking to the Colosseum takes about 20 minutes. We found the room clean and nice, even though the place looked a bit sketchy at first, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The young guy speaks English too. Breakfast is worth adding for €3.50 a day, it's really good for the price. I'd recommend it if you're visiting Rome on a budget.
