The staff were there for me when I got sick after accidentally being glutened at a local restaurant. They brought extra water, towels, and gluten-free crackers, then checked the next day to see how I was doing and offered more help. Being ill away from home is hard, so I really appreciated it. I have Celiac disease, and breakfast each morning had several choices, including gluten-free options for me. We booked the Junior Suite for seven nights. It was roomy and had everything we needed, with a comfortable bed and a cozy couch to put our feet up after long walks. We loved being able to open the windows during the day for fresh air. The Inn at the Roman Forum exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The setting is beautiful, and every staff member went above and beyond. I’d happily stay again.

The clean, spacious room had windows we could open to watch people down in the street. It felt like one of those movie scenes where people look up and see you relaxing at your window. We also loved a “secret” spot for espresso and some quiet time. There’s history everywhere in Rome. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. When we couldn’t get a taxi or Uber because of extra construction and security in the area at the time, they made call after call, staying on the phone for what felt like forever to find us a ride. We really appreciated that. There’s a rooftop lounge with a great view over the neighborhood, and a garden among all the stone and concrete, with a very friendly resident cat. The location was great, close to shops, places to eat, and tourist sites. What a great find! I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were a highlight of our time in Roma. Everyone, from reception and the breakfast kitchen to the luggage helpers, was warm and kind. We asked for early check-in knowing it wasn’t guaranteed, and they did what they could. Our tired young family was grateful. Breakfast was included, and we looked forward to seeing the morning staff. They helped with whatever we and our baby needed, from yogurt to tasty HEC (ham egg and cheese) sandwiches and fresh-pressed juice. They also helped us with local taxis and nearby recommendations, so we never had to worry about getting lost. The room felt spacious even by American standards, and its decor had Italian character, which we love when traveling and trying to get a feel for the place. We chose The Inn at the Roman Forum from our Costco travel package and are so glad we did for our first stay in Rome, especially for our baby’s first international trip. My husband, baby, and I feel lucky to have met such a hardworking team. Thank you!

We got to experience the Roman ‘rooms’ while checking in, and the welcome drink and tiramisu were a lovely start to our Rome trip. The reception team were kind and attentive. It’s a great hotel in a convenient spot for the colosseum and the forum.

The staff were welcoming and helpful from my first reservation emails right through to the cappuccinos they gave us to go at 6:45 a.m. on departure day. Giordano, Francesca, and everyone else were fabulous. We had breakfast at the hotel, wine on the roof late at night, and tiramisu in the ruins. Our party’s rooms were clean, well-appointed, and serviced twice a day, with cookies left each night. We could walk everywhere, and the hotel sits on a quieter street than many we passed. With Rome’s crowds, it was lovely to have a peaceful retreat that felt like home. We loved our stay here. The service was truly extraordinary!
