SCAM WARNING! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They advertise self-check-in in their comments, but that wasn’t available. I told the hotel I’d reach Rome at 2:00 AM and offered either to give up the first night’s cost if they could arrange a late check-in on Day 2, or to send documentation ahead of time. Instead, they kept telling me to cancel at my own expense, which I believe violated Booking.com guidelines. They ignored the reasonable alternatives I proposed. Their refusal to be flexible or follow the platform’s check-in and cancellation policies shows awful customer service and a focus on profit over guests. Travelers should be very cautious. In reply to their claim that they had no reservation under my name and that this might be about another place: yes, they had my reservation, and this review is about their property. I got a full refund from Booking because they didn’t follow Booking policy.

There’s no regular reception, but messaging over Viber worked smoothly and efficiently for us. The space was welcoming and well maintained, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bathroom was more spacious than expected, adding to the comfort. Ottaviano metro station is just a short walk away, making it easy to explore Rome. Highly recommended for a stay in the heart of the city.

A decent budget choice for one or two nights if you’re traveling alone around Italy, Europe, or elsewhere. I wouldn’t really recommend it for a group or a longer stay.

The location was excellent, but a few things made the stay less comfortable. One of the property's three or four rooms had its toilet outside the room, which was inconvenient for us. We should have checked more carefully when booking, so that part was our oversight. There was no air conditioning, and a persistent strong odor in the room bothered us. The location was great, but the missing amenities and smell took away from the experience.

It’s close to the Metro, bus stops, restaurants, laundry, and shops, and The Vatican is a 12 minute walk away. The rooms are nice for a reasonable price, with a large shower and a high-mounted shower head. Maid service was reliable. There’s a small fridge and a good ceiling fan, but no hot pot or other appliances for heating water or food, and no air conditioning, so summer stays could be hot.
