Rome Pousada

We were five friends and all felt comfortable and at home in this really spacious apartment. The owner was very hospitable, answered our questions right away, and quickly arranged a repair for a broken yard handle. The layout is very good, with two bedrooms in the private part of the apartment, each with a full bathroom, plus a separate guest room with a sofa bed in the shared part. That extra bedroom doesn't have its own toilet. There's also a kitchen with the needed dishes and equipment, and a living room with a large sofa, chess, and a TV. The private yard goes all around the apartment and was a real highlight. It has a utility room with a washing machine, sink, and laundry supplies, as well as a patio with garden furniture, a grill, a summer shower, citrus trees, other greenery, and a lawn. A very affectionate but hungry cat often comes to visit 😂 A few things to keep in mind: the bathrooms have hand soap, toilet paper, and two towels per guest, but no shampoo or shower gel. There's no microwave, though salt and pepper are provided, thank you! You'll need to buy everything else at a nearby shop. Without a car, getting to the supermarket or bus N913 means going down and up two rather steep stairways. If you're tired after an excursion, a handy trick is to ride three stops farther up the hill and walk down the street instead of climbing the stairs. There's a bar nearby and a very good restaurant, "Peperoncino Dispettoso." I recommend it, but on Saturday and Sunday evenings you need a reservation. Rome Cavalieri hotel is a five-minute walk away, which is handy if you're coming with colleagues for a congress there. Thank you, Niccolo! When we plan to visit Rome, we'll stay at Rome Pousada again.
