Check-in was terrible, and I was charged an extra 40 euro. The host's phone wasn't working until after 8pm.

The location was great and communication was excellent. The price was fantastic too. The sink drain was clogged, though, and there was no shower gel or shampoo. Fortunately, those were available within 100 meters.

The location is the one thing I'd give five stars. The rooms themselves are nothing special, though they are convenient for visiting the city since it's a B&B. My main issue was the Proletario's lack of professionalism and the time we spent waiting for a reply. We'd left our bags in the room before going out, as advised at check-in. We were told to leave the keys there and that someone would let us in when we returned. But when we got back, with our train leaving in an hour and a half, we tried messaging the Proletario several times and calling again, with no answer. I understand not having reception around the clock, but replies during check-in and checkout should be more timely, especially since we'd already said when we'd collect our bags. After 20 years in business, I didn't expect such serious shortcomings. I also spoke with the concierge at the staircase, who said other customers had complained about the owner's behavior before. The rest of the experience was very poor.

The location is good, but that doesn't make it acceptable to be freezing at night. The room was very cold, and after promising to fix things on the first day, they said on later days that they couldn't. They claimed the heaters would work, but they didn't. When we asked for the air conditioner remote, they said they don't use it in winter, then handed it over. The next day, while we were out, someone entered our room and took it. If they can come in like that, they could take your belongings too, so be careful. They also didn't answer our messages. There's no WiFi or heater, and the air conditioner runs at very low power. I suspect it might not cool the room at all in summer. Don't take this review seriously, and absolutely don't go to this hotel!
