The staff were really nice, though a bit loud in the morning, which was rough while I was jet lagged. Also, be ready to pay the small mandatory city tax. They dragged me out of bed for it, so I'd pay it as soon as you can. The room was tiny, but I expected that and only used it to sleep. For the price, it felt fair, clean, and well located, with lots of Sicilian places around and easy public transport in a safe area. People may expect too much when reviewing it. You get what you pay for, so don't compare it with a five-star hotel.

There are good bars and restaurants within a 10-minute walk, and the center is about a 35-minute walk away. The location was okay, and the staff were kind. My room had a cute balcony, though the bed was a bit broken. The walls were so thin I could hear someone whispering two rooms away.

My wife and I stayed for 10 days, and the place was clean and comfortable. Edison and the young girl were especially excellent, friendly, and helpful. It was great, and we'll definitely come back. I'd recommend staying here to friends and family.

The room was dusty and untidy. There was no shampoo or soap in the shower until we asked, and our towels weren't changed at all during the stay. Customer service was poor, and there were plenty of other issues too.
