This is a historic building with a real Romey feel, pretty interiors, and a distinctive rooftop terrace. The breakfast and chambermaid service were excellent, and the facilities included a washing machine and stove. Just remember it's not a hotel, and there are only about 3 staff, who want to go home. If your transport hasn't arrived when you check out, be prepared to wait by the roadside with your bags and suitcases.

We especially loved the evening chef, who cooked to order with the freshest, best ingredients. His meals were fantastic, and we really enjoyed them. I loved the Bernini room and recommend it. We spent 4 nights here and loved the rooms, sitting area, and rooftop terrace, as well as the great location. Best place to stay i. ROME!

Getting a table wasn't easy, and I think the restaurant is aimed at people staying at Roof Suite Rome. But it was worth it: the restaurant is very intimate, with room for max 10 people, and has great views, food, and service. It felt almost like a private dining experience. I'd recommend it, as long as you don't expect to get a table easily.

We stayed two nights, March 20th & 21st, and would gladly return. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the price in March was very reasonable. This small boutique hotel is in a converted apartment, with suites named after artists. We had the spacious Michelangelo Suite, with a king bed, A/C, TV, mini bar, sitting area, and plenty of outlets. The bathroom had a tub, bidet, toiletries, robe, and slippers. The location is very central for the major sights in Rome. Guests can share a sitting room with a coffee maker, couches, and TV, as well as a rooftop terrace with a nice seating area. In the morning they put out fresh fruit, and in the evening there was fruit and cake by the entrance to the roof. Check-in was the only confusing part. At the front door, you have to find Roof Suite and buzz the front desk, then take the elevator or stairs to the 6th floor. There, you need to be buzzed in again and wait in the common area for someone to arrive with your key. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate, and at 20 Euros per person it seemed a little steep, so we skipped it. Still, we had an excellent stay.

The rooftop breakfast came with an amazing view. The rooms are great for a city break.
