I've stayed here often and had good experiences each time, including in different rooms. The location is central and strategic, and the rooms have what you need at a very reasonable price. Angelo and his staff are friendly and quick to respond. I'd strongly recommend it for a comfortable stay in the heart of Rome.

The windows didn't keep out the noise from outside, and the toilet made noise at night. There was no liquid soap, just bars. The owner was smoking indoors and wasn't polite. He had no change for the tourist tax and blamed us for it. I wouldn't stay again.

The hotel is well located and nicely renovated, which makes the arrival problem all the more disappointing. Our room had been reserved for other guests even though we'd paid online. We had to threaten to call the police to be allowed to stay one night instead of three, then lost half a day getting a refund.

The rooms were clean and had thick walls, and the location was good. Breakfast was poor. I found it irritating that the owner smoked indoors.
