Rossi Hotel

The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and I slept better than I ever have. The room was clean and practical, and the location near the train station made my airport trip convenient. I got a warm welcome even though I arrived before check-in, and they let me leave my suitcase until the room was ready. When I returned, it was already in my room. There was some noise from outside, but the hotel had earplugs.

We had spacious rooms and good air conditioning at this very handy hotel near Termini. The staff were friendly and helpful, and let us check in early and leave our bags for a few hours after checkout. That gave us time to explore more of Rome before our evening train. It was good value for the area. There’s no fridge or kettle for personal use, and the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, though that seems common around Italy’s major stations.

We had a lovely time sitting outside, and Nomi took great care of us. Lunch was delicious: pizza, salad, Aperol Spritz, Limoncello, and ice cream. This restaurant is AMAZING!!! We’ll definitely try to come back.

We ended up booking another hotel after seeing the condition of the place, its shared facilities, and the poor environment. The room we were given had a shared shower and toilet, which I find completely unacceptable for a hotel. There weren’t even shower slippers, so we had to go barefoot, despite paying $130. I admit I hadn’t read carefully enough to realize this type of accommodation was possible here. Once I noticed, I immediately asked to cancel, but that was denied. This is a hostel, not a hotel.
