The apartment is lovely and newly renovated, and it’s very close to the metro. Getting inside was a hassle: it took a lot of messages to get the PIN, and then it didn’t work, so we had to message again. The air conditioning struggled to cool the place for some reason. Not having a bidet was uncomfortable, though I understand it would be hard to fit one in such a small apartment.

Valentina was quick to respond and let us check in early, which we appreciated after the long flight from Australia. We stayed overnight in the Green room, which was impeccably clean and well presented after its recent refurbishment. Getting there from Roma Termini was easy by Metro to Re di Roma, followed by a 700m walk. There’s lift access and keyless entry, and Penny Supermarket is just steps away. Valentina also recommended a traditional Trattoria a five-minute walk away, where we had delicious Italian pasta.

Valentina was super helpful, and the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. They cleaned every day. It’s a quiet area and very convenient for the subway.

The owner, Valentina, welcomed us so warmly and was genuinely kind. She also gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants to try. The room was spotless and inviting, with everything new and tastefully decorated. A real gem in the heart of Rome!
