The place is handy for Vatican shops and restaurants, and the area is nice, though most places shut around 11 pm. That was about the only plus for us. For a family of four, we were all in one room, and I wasn’t happy with the stay. The photos may be from when it was renovated. The air conditioning was set to 16, yet the room felt like 80 degrees. There was no ice or microwave, and the walls are so thin you’ll need headphones with music to sleep. We paid far too much for what we got, and what we didn’t get. Restaurants were another letdown. They’re very flattering to get you through the door, then treat you like chopped liver. As an American Italian, I also found the Italian-American food much better in NY. The Europeans around here came across as arrogant and rude, and wore no deodorant whatsoever.

Marco was really friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. We stayed four nights, found it very good value, and it was ideally placed for exploring. Nothing to fault, I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The breakfast and food were decent, and the staff were friendly. The location right by the metro was great. The Wi-Fi could be a bit better, but for free Wi-Fi in Rome it was quite decent.
