Nice house, but the heating wasn’t working.

There’s no sofa, and the kitchen has no pots or knives. The water heater for the shower couldn’t manage even one hair-washing shower, then took more than 15 minutes to heat up again. The heating was turned off at 11 p.m. and came back on sometime after 10 a.m., though I can’t say exactly when since we were out. We were cold on the first day. Never in winter!

The apartment is well located, but has several shortcomings. The heating gets turned off at 11 p.m., and there are problems with the boiler too, so only one person can shower at a time.

The host was so kind and helpful. The apartment was really comfortable and nice, just a few steps from St. Peter's, with the metro only a few meters away. It’s a central base for seeing Rome.
