The owner was friendly and even let us have the room before check-in. We had a nice stay, though it could have been cleaner and the shared bathrooms are pretty small. Getting there was the hard part: it’s a bit far from the station, and the walk felt scary at night. We struggled to find the place the first time, so look for the small name tags by the building gates. We ended up calling the owner to come let us in. There’s a cafe around the corner, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s really a room in an apartment, not much of a hotel setup. You pass through four doors, including the main entrance, before reaching the room. There’s a double bed downstairs, plus two single mattresses on the loft floor, so it can sleep four. The fan was too weak for the August heat, and the shared bathroom wasn’t great. Maybe manageable for 2-3 days if you’ll be out most of the time. The room temperature was uncomfortable.

There are three rooms, but they’re quite bare, and the WC is shared. The host doesn’t speak English, though there are printed instructions. The place is also listed on Airbnb.

The courtyard cafe by the market is great, and the market itself is picturesque with fresh produce. The host was really warm and helpful, too. I had a great stay and will be back.

The photos and the actual place were totally different. The second extra bed was really bad, and the hot water, Wi-Fi, and heating system didn’t work.
