We loved the in-room breakfast, with the choices customized each morning, and the room was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. Matteo and his team, Grace, Marianne and Alia, made everything feel comfortable and wonderful. Alia also pointed us to some great restaurants. The location worked really well for us, within walking distance of Castel Sant'Angelo, the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, and plenty more, with the river nearby for a stroll. Thanks again for the five-star service at SM Mellini. We'll be back! :)

We found the reception area very clean and pleasant, and our room was absolutely beautiful. The service was really good, and everyone was nice. We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone planning a trip to Rome.

They even gave us a discount for the two mornings we didn't need breakfast, since we had a busy schedule, and really tried to work around our plans. The place is lovely, thoughtfully designed, and well kept, right in the heart of Rome. We walked to the Vatican, Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain, all within about 20 minutes. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Rome and will keep recommending it.

The room was lovely and spotless, with a decorated recessed ceiling. It was comfortable for two people, and could possibly fit three, though I can't say how well the rooms work for families. The staff came in each day while we were out and cleaned it nicely. Breakfast was included in the room price, and each morning they brought our choices from the extensive menu we'd ordered the day before on a properly set-up rolling table right to our door. I was unsure about booking at first because the place seemed new, with few reviews and not many pictures. I also had reservations about the term B&B because of Airbnb, but the Google and Booking.com reviews reassured me, and I'm glad I booked. Matteo was great during check-in, helping us find the property and get into the room. The front desk staff explained the amenities and gave us a map of Roma with major sights, shopping spots, and restaurants at different prices, locations, and styles. Each day, staff greeted us, checked how we were doing, and remembered little things about us, which made us feel welcome. I hardly ever write reviews, but this stay was fantastic in every respect. The location, service, room, and more made this a wonderful new B&B in Rome.
