The host gave us lots of spot-on tips for what to do, where to go, and where to eat in Rome. We had a great time in this wonderful, cosy house, so close to the Vatican.

The location was a real plus, right in front of the Vatican within walking distance, and very close to Ottaviano underground stop. The house was roomy and comfortable for four. Our host was super nice and waited for us when we arrived at midnight, for a small surcharge. A perfect stay in Rome!

Just grand! Once you’re inside, wow. I wish they’d work on the security line.

Getting around was easy from this great location, with transport, places to eat, and shops all convenient. The soundproofing could be better. The landlord was very nice, and I appreciate the service.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and the neighborhood stays quiet even at night. The metro is a minute away, and the Vatican is a 20-minute walk. We could check in half an hour early, and communication with the owner was good at first, though it was hard to reach her at the end of our stay. The apartment could use a refresh and wasn’t the cleanest. It’s a decent base for a few days in Rome, but nothing special.
