We found everything we needed nearby, from shopping streets and restaurants to bakeries, ice cream shops, and souvenir stores. The Vatican and Castel Sant'Angelo are walkable; for the Colosseum, the metro is best, and buses and metro make the rest of Rome easy to reach. Getting to the accommodation from the airports is convenient too. The rooms were clean, quiet, refurbished, and had AC and WiFi. It felt safe, with all the rooms opening off a hallway that can be locked. On our last day, being able to leave our suitcases after checkout and come back later to use the shower and restroom was especially helpful. Breakfast was good enough, and the location was very good. An excellent place to stay.

We’ve stayed here twice already, and we’d definitely return. It’s in a good, quiet spot near the Vatican, and the rooms are clean. The first time, the WiFi wasn’t working very well. We told the owner, who sorted it out, and on our second visit it worked perfectly. The owners are super friendly, quick to reply to messages, and always ready to help. It’s great value if you want a nice, clean place to stay. We’re usually out all day, so we don’t need somewhere luxurious. On arrival, they give you breakfast vouchers for a local bakery/cafe three minutes away, where you can get coffee and a croissant.

The host was lovely and gave us a free map and handy tips, especially for finding places to eat. Stardust Rome Guest House worked well for us as active travelers: it’s near the metro, the Vatican and restaurants, and the price was good. The rooms are modern, with a cozy feel and a sexy bathroom. Just be prepared to call the host, since the entrance is practically impossible to find. Breakfast was so-so. You have to eat at the restaurant around the corner, and what you get is one fried egg with some vegetables and ham.

The staff were lovely, the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I’ve got no complaints and would recommend it.

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The rooms were spotless, there were biscuits, tea and coffee provided, and the owners were really friendly.
