Stendhal and Luxury Suite Annex

The breakfast bar was very good, and the service was exceptional. I can't remember the name of the gentleman at the morning front desk, but he was extremely accommodating and helpful. I'd return for the service and breakfast alone. The location in Rome is great. Rooms are small and modestly appointed, and they really need modernization and updates.

We felt very safe at Hotel Stendhal, and the location made it easy to get to Rome's sights, restaurants, and shops. Our suite was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The breakfast room is a sunroom with an amazing assortment of food, and the chef even brought us homemade tiramisu and pasta while we were eating. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back.

We appreciated the complimentary bottled water each day, though glass bottles would be a nicer, more eco-friendly choice. The room was a comfortable size for our family of three, and service was excellent throughout, including very efficient room service. It's a solid four-star option in a prime spot near the Trevi Fountain, but expect street noise through the night. We found it manageable, though worth knowing about. My main criticism is breakfast: I'd have liked more hot choices, such as made-to-order omelets or scrambled eggs, and sourdough bread would be a great addition.

Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty for vegans and vegetarians, including fresh bread, grilled vegetables, cut fruit, and plant-based milk. The coffee was especially good. Our room looked charming, the linens felt high quality, and everything was very clean. Service was excellent.
